Lightwight chipboard is manufactured using 100% poplar chips, some of which have been recycled from
the waste material created in the mill during the manufacture of our range of high-quality
lightweight plywood
products,
Using this raw material allows the mill to produce a homogenous engineered panel that is very light in colour, and offering the performance characteristics required for a high-quality engineered particleboard, except at a much lower weight than normal.
Lightweight particleboard is highly suitable for overlaying with different coverings, such as melamine, laminate, PVC, veneers, etc, and you can also buy this material in the form of lightweight veneer faced chipboard
- Thickness from 18mm up to 60mm
- Standard size of 4200x2100mm (other sizes considered)
- Lightweight - engineered to a density of only 480-550kg/m3, without loss of strength
- Extremely white and clean in colour
