Veneered Doors
Our doors are available faced using any of our full range of over 300
veneers & inlays , and can be supplied in industry standard sizes and/or produced to specific
sizes to existing openings.
We can supply FD30 (half hour fire resistant) & FD60 (one hour fire resistance) rated doors, and can supply them with edges that have been finished with matching solid lumber to allow trimming to size on site. This edging can be applied either before or after the face veneers have been bonded to the core, leaving the strips concealed or exposed respectively. As an alternative, we can edge the doors with a contrasting lumber that can either be exposed or concealed (e.g. Figured Maple with American Black Walnut edging).
As with all of our veneered products, our doors are normally supplied ready for finishing, whether with lacquer, oil, wax, polish, or some other form of treatment, giving you full control and enabling you to achieve the final effect you desire, and we can offer polished doors for larger quantities.
Inlaid doors, including stiles & rails effect:
We supply doors with contrasting inlays installed either in simple vertical or horizontal lines, or we can arrange the grain of each part of the door so that a stiles and rails panelled door effect is achieved (i.e. the main grain direction is vertical, while the area of the cross rails has horizontal grain direction.
