View Eldorado veneered panels & doors in full size

Also known as Trebol, Macahuba, Macacauba and Macawood, Eldorado is a colourful veneer resembling a type of Rosewood, found extensively throughout Central and South America, from Mexico right down to Brazil.

Eldorado heartwood is sharply demarcated from the sapwood, and varies in colour from yellow-brown to warm mid or reddish brown. The heartwood is often streaked and veined with lighter and darker shades of these colours and dark pinky reds giving a very dramatic visual appearance. The yellowish to creamy white Sapwood is often incorporated for an even more dramatic contrasting effect.

The grain of Eldorado is mostly spiral and the texture fine and constant. It is easy to prepare and takes a finish well.
