Tineo Veneered Panels & Jointed Veneer
Tineo is also called Palo Santo, Tinel and sometimes by the trade name of Indian Apple.
It is found in southern Chile & Argentina among many other species, such as coigüe, raulí, roble, lenga, and ñirre .
Tineo has tight, homogeneous pores and the distinct heartwood exhibits decorative black veins that are highly prized for use in the manufacture of furniture, ornamental panels and doors.
The wood is easy to work and process, although it is difficult to dry evenly without cracking.
It takes finishes well.
