Overview
Fineline veneered plywood
Produced by bonding a veneer produced of narrow strips of wood to a core of MDF, plywood, fineline veneered plywood is a panel with an attractive linear surface design. The same veneer can be used to produce fire doors with the same surface design.
Solid fineline plywood
This product is manufactured using narrow strips of wood that are bonded together to form a solid decorative panel product. It can be laid up with each alternating veneer layer perpendicular to its neighbours or in the same direction (unidirectional), depending upon customer requirement. The product is perfect for use in interior finishes and in the manufacture of decorative furniture, stairs and as a flooring surface material. The product can be supplied as a solid block that enables complicated shapes & patterns to be carved.
In detail
This unusual decorative plywood has a striking stiped appearance right across the face - and in the case of solid fineline plywood, right throughout the thickness of the panel - due to the nature of the woods being used and the manner in which they are oriented and/or mixed.
As an alternative to using a single wood specie in a single panel, contrasting strips can be laid up to achieve a pattern of repeats.
NB: Our mills are fully commmited to production of standard plywood to fill the gaps now that Russian plywood no longer legal. As a result, solid fineline is not currently available:
